Community Food Pantry

Kids Hope USA – Cedar Springs UMC is a Kids Hope congregation. We have partnered with the Cedar Springs elementary schools to mentor, pray, and create one-on-one relationships to make a difference in the life of a child.

Church Camp – Brochures for summer camps are available in the office. Various church groups set aside money to pay a portion of each person’s camp registration fee, and extra financial help is available, so don’t let the cost be a deterrent to registering for camp. Habitat Summer Mission Trip – Every summer CSUMC travels up north to work on a Habitat for Humanity project.If you are interested in participating in the July mission trips please call Tom at 696-5186 or email to: tomnoreen@aol.com. He can provide you with the application and other materials needed to complete the training. Everyone attending must also finish an online series of training prior to our departure. You must be 16 years of age by our departure date.

UPDATE REGARDING IN-PERSON WORSHIP – 02/17/2021

“Our ‘Rethinking Church’ Task Force has thoughtfully and prayerfully decided to reopen our church for in-person worship (Phase II of Reopening Guidelines) as of Sunday, February 21^st at 9:30am. We will be open at 50% capacity. Masks and social distancing will be required. Online virtual services will still be available on our Facebook page for those not yet ready to return to in-person worship.

All non-church building use has been postponed until further notice. (With the exception of the monthly blood drive.) Meanwhile, please contact the church office if you have questions and we will do our best to assist you. All groups using the church have been notified.

At this time Blood Drives on the third Tuesday of the month are still operating. COVID-19 Antibody Testing will be performed on all blood donations as part of our standard testing.

Cedar Springs Food Pantry is open as a “drive-thru” only pantry (3 mornings/week- Tues., Wed., Thurs.) and clients must have a referral from North Kent Connect. Our church office will still be closed so you will need to contact NKC to setup your referral ahead of time.
