Ministry For All

  • VBS – July 24-27: “Hero Central”     Come and discover your  Super strength with us!  We’ll have lots of fun – including crafts, games, stories and much more.  Volunteers are needed!  Watch for more information throughout May.   Call Sally Johnson @ (616) 788-8225 if you can help with this fun event.

  • Church Camp –  Believe it or not, it’s time to think about registering for camp!  Brochures for United Methodist camps and Pine Ridge Bible Camp are available in the office.  Various church groups set aside money to pay a portion of each person’s camp registration fee, and extra financial help is available, so don’t let the cost be a deterrent to registering for camp.  Camp changes lives! If interested please contact Nancy Noreen @

  • Kids Hope USACedar Springs UMC is a Kids Hope congregation. We have partnered with the Cedar Springs elementary schools to mentor, and pray, and create one-on-one relationships to make a difference in the life of a child.

  • Summer Mission Trip – Every summer CSUMC travels up north to work on a Habitat for Humanity project.

  • Habitat Mission Trip

If you are interested in participating in the July 16-22 mission trip to the UP, please contact me by May 28. We have the core of our team but there is plenty of room for more. By giving Habitat an idea of our team’s size and composition, they will be able to begin planning our projects. Everyone attending must also finish an online series of training prior to our departure. You must be 14 years of age by our departure on July 16.

Our first fundraiser will be a spaghetti dinner on June 4 right after church. We will need the team to setup, cook, serve and cleanup this meal. Our Buy-a-Stud fundraiser will begin in mid-June.

Please call me at 696-5186 or email me at as soon as possible if you want to come and I will get you the application and other materials needed to complete the training.

On June 4, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM the Habitat Mission Team will host a Spaghetti Fundraiser dinner in the fellowship hall. The team plans to cook up spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert. All of the proceeds will go towards the team’s mission trip. You don’t have to be going on the mission trip to help.

Anyone wishing to donate ingredients for the meal to help off-set the cost, please contact me at 696-5186 or email me at I will also put a signup sheet on the table upstairs so you can sign up for your donation.

  • Wednesday night meals –   Come for good food and good fellowship – 6:00 p.m. starting again in the fall. “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals, and to prayer” Acts 2:42
