Adult Classes – Sunday mornings at 9 AM there will be a study of the New Testament in the parlor. Childcare will be provided.
The Cedar Springs Methodist Church is initiating a current events discussion at the Cedar Springs Brewery on April 9 starting at 7 PM. Our goal is to provide a time of fellowship, faith and food (if you want) in a relaxed atmosphere. If there is interest, we will continue the series every other week and adjust times to best fit schedules. The discussion topic is taken from a subscription service called the Wired Word. We will not know the topic until the Thursday before the meeting. If you would be interested in coming or would like more information, email Tom Noreen at TomNoreen@aol.com. A Women’s Bible study meets Tuesday mornings at 10 AM in the parlor. All women are invited.
“Discovery” – a four-week class for those interested in knowing more about our church and United Methodism, 9:00 am – 10:00 am on Sundays, April 8, 15, 22, 29. Those who wish will have an opportunity to be received into membership on Sunday, May 6 at 10:15 am. To sign up for the class, please indicate on the Friendship/Attendance pad with a star (“*”) beside your name.

Children’s Church @ 10:15 Worship Service – Nursery for Pre-School kids and under is available during worship.
Beginning September 10 every 2nd and 4th Sunday following the Children’s Message all kindergarten thru 5th graders are invited to meet downstairs for a Bible lesson and activity.
Youth Group – Refuge Youth Network meets Tuesdays from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Cedar Rock Sports Plex located at 4758 Cornfield Drive. Each weekly meeting includes games, food, music, teaching, small groups, free time, or tutoring.
Kids Hope USA – Cedar Springs UMC is a Kids Hope congregation. We have partnered with the Cedar Springs elementary schools to mentor, pray, and create one-on-one relationships to make a difference in the life of a child.
Church Camp – Brochures for summer camps are available in the office. Various church groups set aside money to pay a portion of each person’s camp registration fee, and extra financial help is available, so don’t let the cost be a deterrent to registering for camp. Habitat Summer Mission Trip – Every summer CSUMC travels up north to work on a Habitat for Humanity project.
If you are interested in participating in the July mission trips please call Tom at 696-5186 or email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. He can provide you with the application and other materials needed to complete the training.
Everyone attending must also finish an online series of training prior to our departure. You must be 14 years of age by our departure date.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Every summer we host vacation bible school for grades pre-K thru 6th. Each year our theme changes and children have a fun time doing arts & crafts, recreational activities, music and more while learning about God. You can print the 2018 Vacation Bible school form and Media Release Liability forms and return them to the church office at the address listed on our contact page.
